How do I sign-up to pay my water bill online?

Click on the “Register” link located on the left side of the screen.It will be helpful to have your last water bill handy as you will be asked to provide the following information:

  • Your NWWA account number
  • The total amount of your last water bill
  • Your e-mail address


Enter the requested information and click on the “Register” button.Once your information is verified you will receive an e-mail with your PIN (Personal Identification Number).You will have the option of changing your PIN when you log into the site.

You only need to “Register” once.


How soon can I start paying my bills online?

Once you have completed the online registration you can begin paying your bills immediately. Remember you will need to login each time you wish to pay your bill online.


Who should I contact if I have any questions or complaints about the online payment option?

What forms of payment can I use online?

Visa, Master Card and Discover credit cards are accepted.


Will my financial privacy be protected?

To protect your financial privacy, NWWA will not be storing, or maintaining, any information associated with your credit card. A link to our “Privacy Policy” can be found at the bottom of any page on our website.


Can I view my Account Information online without making a payment?

Yes. Your account information is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Just make sure you “Register” the first time you want to view the information.


How soon will my payment appear on my account?

Payments will be downloaded from the website by the next business day.


What is the difference between utilizing the online payment option and your AutoFlow program?

NWWA’s AutoFlow program automatically withdraws payment from a designated Checking or Savings account each time you are billed. With our online payment system option you can only utilize Visa, MasterCard or Discover credit cards. Additionally, the online payment option does not provide for automatic payment. Customers will need to access the online payment service each time they are billed and provide credit card information and payment amount. NWWA will not be storing your credit card information.


Where can I find my Account Number?

Your account number is printed several places on your paper bill.It is located in the upper right hand portion of the bill and on the bottom next to the NWWA logo. A sample bill can be found on this website in the “Understanding Your Bill” section.

If you still cannot locate your account number, contact NWWA’s Customer Service Department at 215-699-4836 between 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday and 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Fridays.


The amount of my water bill online appears incorrect. What should I do?

Click on the History button located on the left side of your screen. The History section captures the last 13 months of account activity. You may have incurred Penalty or additional Late Fees. Click on the highlighted dates in blue to provide you with detailed information associated with each transaction. You can view such information as: charges incurred, usage and meter read dates.


Does my name have to be on the account to make an online payment?

No. As long as you have the NWWA Account Number and PIN you can make an online payment. The Account Number and PIN are unique identifiers. Only the registered user can choose to provide you with this information.


What should I do if I forget my PIN?

Click on the “Forget PIN” link highlighted in blue on the Login screen. Complete the requested information and submit. You will receive an email with your PIN. If that doesn’t work, contact NWWA’s Customer Service Department at 215-699-4836 between 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday and 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Fridays.


Can I use any PC to pay online?

Yes, as long as you are able to access the Internet and have registered for the online payment option. You will need: NWWA’s website address (http://www.nwwater.com), your NWWA Account Number and PIN.


How much will it cost me to pay my bill online?

NWWA will not be charging you any additional fees for utilizing this payment option.


How do I update my PIN (Personal Identification Number)?

Once you are logged into your account, click on the “Change Pin” tab located on the left side of your screen. Enter your old PIN and type your new PIN, where requested. Retype your new PIN and click on the “Change Pin” button. You will receive an email confirming the change has been made.


Will I still receive a paper copy of my water bill through the U.S. mail?

Paper bills will be mailed unless you enroll in NWWA's "Paperless Billing" program. The Paperless Billing option sends an email notification informing you charges have been applied and eliminates the paper bill. The email will contain a link directly to the NWWA Online Payment website where you can view your bill.

To sign up for Paperless Billing you will need to register on the NWWA Online Payment website and select the "Electronic Notification" option. If you are already registered, log in to the Online Payment website and select "Update My Profile" from the left-hand menu.


Will utilizing the online payment option save me money on my water bill?

You won’t save money on your water bill but you will save on postage and check writing fees. Also, online payments are received faster than U.S. mail. Utilizing this payment feature provides you more control on payment receipt which could help eliminate additional late fees.


Do I have to pay my entire water bill at once?

Full payment is due on or before the stated due date to avoid late fees and additional charges. If you are unable to make the required payment please contact NWWA’s Customer Service Department at 215-699-4836 between 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday and 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Fridays to discuss possible payment arrangements.


What happens if there is a mistake with my online payment?

Each time you authorize an online payment you will receive a confirmation that payment has been made.We recommend you save these confirmations and compare them to your monthly credit card statements.If there is a discrepancy you will need to contact the company issuing the credit card.
