North Wales Water Authority is accepting applications for a full-time Accounting Assistant.

The Accounting Assistant is responsible for various accounting tasks, including but not limited to: accounts payable, fixed assets, and general accounting.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain vendor profiles in Dynamics GP

• Complete Accounts Payable process - verify/enter invoices to process and send out checks

• Enter fixed asset records in Dynamics GP

• Prepare month-end journal entries

• Assist with preparation of end-of-the-month reports and financial statements

• Maintain accounting files, daily filing

• Provide support as needed in the finance department

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required. Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

• 1+ years of accounting experience preferred

• Strong communication and analytical skills

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

• Must be able to work independently, prioritize, and multi-task

• Ability to use Excel, Word & Microsoft Office software applications
