Enhancing Our Water Systems, Enriching Our Community
Explore our dedication to advancing sustainable water management, enhancing infrastructure, and fostering community welfare.
We’re excited to share that we’ve secured a grant to repaint the Shetland Drive water tank in Warrington! This funding will cover a significant portion of the project cost, with the North Wales Water Authority contributing the remaining funds.
The Shetland Tank Project is underway and will include a thorough inspection, necessary repairs, and a full repainting of the tank, which was originally constructed in 1974. These upgrades will help extend the tank’s service life and ensure it continues to meet current safety and operational standards.
This effort reflects our ongoing commitment to providing safe, reliable water service to all NWWA customers. Stay tuned for updates as the project moves forward!
We’re pleased to share that both Welsh Road Tanks are now complete.
Both tanks were last painted in 1998, and these upgrades will help extend their service lives and ensure the continued reliability of our water system. Thank you for your support as we invest in the long-term health of our infrastructure.
Standing tall since 1993, our Hydropillar-style water tower holds 1.5 million gallons and stretches 139 feet into the sky with a base diameter of 86 feet.
We’re excited to share that this structure, scheduled for a full repair and repaint, was started in October! These improvements will help preserve the tower’s reliability, safety, and appearance for years to come.
Stay tuned! We’ll be sharing updates as the project moves forward.
